Two of the IDS have been adopted by Rodrigo of PredatoryFins late Summer last year, 2019. Then one 8" jivi was donated by Steve of Naples, FL in the Fall. All of normal coloration.
All the IDS have been doing well. The biggest that's about 5 years old is near a 3' mark. The eyeless old guy of about 15 years or older hasn't grown any in years but feeds well, seems to dart and bump into walls less too with years. The 5 year old late bloomer albino too has been doing well in 4500 gal, now clearly over 24" and bearing notably less of occasional damage from aggressive and toothy tank mates.
Steve's IDS has grown well and quick to 14" in a 240 gal, then was tried in 4500 gal where it was immediately preyed upon by our 30" temensis pbass, so had to be taken out and put back in one of the 240 gal.
Nov 2019:
It reached around 22" in that 240 gal, where initially it was feeding and behaving well but lately slowing down on feeding likely because it felt cramped, and was recently tried again in 4500 gal. Begins at 20:50 minutes:
Yet, it hadn't worked out either - vulture catfish decided it was their new live chew toy and a meal and stripped a good part of its caudal and anal fins in minutes, so off it has gone into a new 1800 gal where it started to heal (sorry, worst photos, bad lighting, but they convey the vulture damage):
