OK, I'm getting kinda broke buying all this krill to feed my my arowana, 7 bichirs, 3 frontosa, flowerhorn, and red devil. Those are just the one that eat mostly krill... I have other fish that eat mostly pellets, so i gotta buy those too.
I'd don't mind buying the pellets, but 3.5 oz of krill is 20+ bucks (half the can is eyeballs and stuff the fish just let sink into the gravel). I could buy three or four pounds of shrimp at the grocery store depending on the price at the time for 20 dollars.
Can I just buy a bunch of shrimp, freeze it, thaw as needed, cut it up and feed these fish?
That would be WAY cheaper.

SWEET! I can get shrimp around here for 5 or 6 six bucks a pound when it's on sale... which is often. That saves me a few grand in the next few years.:nilly:
Gonna go get really, well, you know, and feed the fish!:headbang2

Lol, you can do it with or without the shells some fish wont eat them if they have a shell.

Good luck im going to pick 5 pounds up now lol.

I just have a small silver, 2 clown knives, a croc gar, catfish and phenochilus Africans in my tank. I found the flash frozen peeled shrimp at the store and all of these fish seem to eat pieces of it. The gar even took some from my fingers. You can buy smaller shrimp by getting the higher counts to the pound. 3 shrimp a day feed my fish. A small bag is about 5 bucks. I got flake and other foods too as well as the Aro pellets.
