I am interested in getting fw flounders at my local lfs and i was wondering wut it should eat and wut ther full size is and just general care. sorry for my typos on forums in the past i mosty type on my iphone and i suck at that.

Ask your LFS what they're feeding them and start with that. Some flounders/flatfish are reluctant to eat non-living foods, but given time they should adapt to most frozen foods. Try worms and chopped shrimp, since they'll appreciate that.
Don't keep them with anything too active or boistrous, otherwise they could get bullied out of their food and may starve. Gobies normally make pretty good tankmates.

I have a dragon goby will it be ok with that also the biggest flounder ther is 6in so i think it should be fine with 5 in needle nose gars.
actually, i think that ideal tank size is around 30gallons. they are not very active. but if you put them in anything bigger, they will have hard time finding food.
I would also recommend getting 4 or more because it has been my experience that about half of them wont accept frozen food and starve. once they start eating frozen blood worms you can transition them to crushed pellets.

I have kept 4 brackish flounders for the last few months. I keep a figure 8 puffer and a green spotted puffer with them. They were all the size of a dime when purchased. The largest one is now larger than a quarter, and the other 3 are not far behind. I feed them frozen(thawed) bloodworms twice a day using a turkey baster. Once with lights on and once at night when only moonlight LEDs are on.
They are very interesting to watch, but I would recommend using sand or a very fine gravel. They love to bury themselves.

i got one . mine eats bloodworms and pellets. had it since october last year. Un heated tank it stays room temp. in with bunch of guppys.
