Freshwater Puffer Fish List

The last time i was offered a possible cross river (small specimen) they were asking $1K USD with USD $500 deposit...

Only after getting a deposit were they going to get the fish direct from a fisherman... i couldnt justify gambling that much money (even though they promised to refund it, if i didnt want the fish or it wasnt the right one)...

So that gives you a rough estimate of how much a cross river costs at cost price... coz even the LFS said they werent in it for making money off the fish as much as they also just really want to see one in person...

thats crazy! ive only ever seen them on a suppliers list once and our cost was $2k USD for a supposed 8" ltc one. if they ever drop in price it will be almost as exciting as legal asian aros in the US

oops.. guess Wesley's T. Duboisi was closer to 9 inches

Really? Huh that's still pretty big, I guess I'll have to move mine into a larger tank if it keeps growing. It's stayed around the 5 inch mark for the last 6 months or so though.
