guys im new in this forum. but i recently acquired a freshwater trevally. have any of you had any experience in keeping them? mind sharing me a thing or two about them... thanks:)

:O whered u find that trevally.... i saw one a year ago and regret not getting it!!! i would guess they r pretty hard to keep though since they r usually saltwater fish....
 
wow thats some collection u have there. what size tank or tanks?
 
is that snakehead? and where you get 12 LMB from?

anyways nice pickup.

this specie of trevally can live purely in FW. we have them in our local lake and they are called "maliputo". im not sure thou of their scientific name:).

i have them with my juvenile peacock and they seem very resilient to the peacocks bullying. they are very fast and very trevally like when it comes to feeding. they like running down their prey and loves to chase their guppies all over the tank. now i have them in my 80g, my LMB's are in my 100g.

i got my LMB's also in a man made lake here. i fished them when they where fingerlings. Love them among the rest for they are very hardy among most of my collection.

Guys i'm from the philippines so having snakeheads are not a problem here:)
