wels are illegal in the US and tilapia in most states, but otherwise, really cool.
In NYC and Washington D. C., people still shine shoes.

They had some program to help rehabilitate drug addicts here by setting them up with a shine box and giving them a patch to work. It seemed to work well but it's been stopped for some reason.

I wasn't aware that wels was a food fish or that tilapia was illegal in some states.Viper could instead look into farming pangasius catfish....not sure if he is still in operation but there was a guy who had such a farming operation down in Puerto Rico.
I guess I could see shoe shine set ups still existing in certain areas in big cities.

You can get permits and permission out here, and tilapia can easily be got with a stocking permit here (it's a minor sport fish out here, one guy caught a 15 pounder!).

Where I am they are legal, but it's just something to keep in mind.
 
does not look real practical to me, must be a English thing. personally I like my motorized recliners.
