That's what you get when you have a long lived animal. Ivory(a common household plant) can live as long as 400 years. Mine is currently 26 years old since I got it in 1992. Had a health scare in 1996 but it recovered and is doing great right now
That's awesome, got any photos of it?

There are some long lived pets out there , a old family friend has had some African cichlids that are in their early twenties now, many pets can live a long time if they are well cared for and have no accidents.

The first picture is the Plant I was talking about. I call her the mama plant.

The second picture shows two more. The one on the left is the daughter plant. I got it off the mama plant back around 2003. So about 10 years younger. The one in the middle(with the water jar) is actually 2 separate plants. The left side of it my wife brought home from work about 4 years ago. To right it was part of the mama plant which a 'branch' was dying closest to base and going out, it got down to 2 leaves left so, I cut it and put it in the water. It recovered and is up to about 7 leaves. Had I left it attached to the mama plant, it would had died.

Nice, they look like the pothos plants that some people use to help filter their tanks.

IMG_1553.JPG Here's mine I rescued, was so dead when I rescued it that it couldn't be identified, looks good now, kept outdoors year round

I have cuttings of wandering Jew that my father's great uncle gave him for years ago. BTW pothos only reproduce asexually and are nearly immortal if cared for properly and cut down and repotted when they get Leggy.

As they get longer they need more nutrients or they die back, any pics of the wandering jew?
