I triad some sausage, seems to be all its good for, or perhaps jerky, hated it, spit it out, gamie greasy crap. Taste like rodent.

Interesting, gator has long been on my bucket dish....ever try that?

nope, had rattle snake as a kid. I thought was great till my mom told me what it was. That tanked eating any more of that, was not served as dinner but an appetizer at a pot luck when I lived in the southern California mountains.

Wildest thing I've eaten was frogs legs though squirrel stew sure looks tasty.

I like cajun crawdad. frog legs good south cal bass bait. well the whole frog actually . wildest thing I ever ate was over seas, that meat they cooking up on a stick looked awfully orange, thinking monkey.

Monkey meat for the win!

bear is some good eating pops

I don't know if it's a location thing, but the black bears here don't taste gamey

I had a gator dish at this seafood joint by my bass pro shops once. I was surprised to see that it tasted fishy. I didn't like it. for some reason I didn't expect it to taste fishy.

Living in NE Tennessee, we have a lot of different types of wild life. I worked at a BBQ joint years ago, and people would bring us various meats to smoke for them. Smoked black bear wasn't bad. Def had a gamey taste, but wasn't gross. Fried alligator tail is delicious, taste like chicken tenders except tough/chewy, good with honey mustard. Never have eaten whistle pigs or any other rodent. I often find myself curious what giraffe neck bones would taste like though.. Yum
