Have you checked the impeller? Another thought is its not self priming correctly.

I agree, due to the larger hoses, it does not shoot out like the smaller hose canisters. It’s more volume than pressure. Also, if it’s taking a few days before this happens, I agree with the others on it taking on air somewhere. If you read the other FX threads, there’s one recently about hose replacement that I believe you can get at Home Depot that’s probably better than what it comes with.
