lol I know what you mean. The fish you want are only available when you don't have room :nilly: Not very hopeful that they'd spawn but they are fun to watch :)
Tell me about it, right!! :nilly:

That's why my pike cichlid collection has risen so sharply lately. I know that eventually I would want C. cametana, soooooo when I had the chance to get three of them I did. :D

Rapps has a HUGE male daemon at his place, but man I don't want a huge male when the females will be less than half his size when they come around again.

Until then, I will keep daemon vicariously through your YouTube videos :D

Awesome on the winemilleri spawn, they are indeed the prettiest Geophagus species IMO.

Obviously your water isn't soft or acidic enough down there, I think you need to send those oh so willing to breed daemon somewhere with the right tap water!!! :naughty:
lol no problem C. That can be arranged :D

I've seen him getting giant daemons at least once or twice a year. My pair actually came from him two years ago at 1-2", Took a little while to get them to 9" but they are not terribly slow...unlike S. acuticeps.

congrats on the spawn! Both the winemilleri and the dameon look amazing, and the tank doesn't look half bad either! Are you planning on adding anymore fish or just leaving it as is?

Thanks :) Not planning to add anymore fish except for two more female G. winemilleri recently acquired from Jeff. Trying to put some more size on them first....then it's 1m6f time :(

That is a STUNNING TANK! I'm hoping you get little wigglers soon!
Thanks! Doesn't look like they got it right this time. Hope they'd learn soon...

Congrats Peter. It was only a matter of time. Any word on whether the spawn was successful?

Very nice. I really like the geos. Been thinking of putting a small group of the smaller sized genus in my 180 but worried they will dig up the plants ;)
