German Rams

If you are serious about breeding any fish for profit, don’t keep them with others. If it is more for fun, it’s okay to have others.
I had dozens of kribs at one point before they slowed down breeding, and that was surrounded by potential predators (they claimed half of a 60 gallon and killed my rainbow shark to make a point). Rams aren’t as mean but will protect the nest well enough to watch them raise the babies.

Im serious about this o species only tank is sounding good. Since one of my rams died maybe I could get another color variant like the electric blue or the cousin the bolivian

I’d pass on Bolivians if you want species only. Other Germans would be cool as they are all the same species.

Hey guys a lot of things went south that’s why I haven’t been posting. So 5/6 rams died.. 3/7 guppies died. 5 gallon with all the plants didn’t let the
Fish swim around so they developed injuries. Some died and I’ve been a little sad but bass and Oscar are healthy so that’s a good upside
