Sunfish are easy to get from stores, but I prefer to breed my own (unfortunately not feasible in your case).
I currently have 36 baby sunfish (around 0.75") and a 2" bluegill now; they are easier to care for when you start with them when they are little.
All of the fish are on frozen Hikari Brine Shrimp cubes, frozen Hikari Brine Shrimp and Spirulina cubes, and mosquito larvae as an occasional treat.
If you get older fish, then you may have trouble getting them off of live food.
