Yeah, these guys also love hanging on the output of the filter to the tank to filter feed as well...

So having a slightly more mature tank helps...

I have one of these that I gave to my dad recently, its in his community tank and growing steadily; they are awesome, electric blue and fan the water like bamboo's.

I also had mine in with hardly the best tankmates (raphael, convict, BGK) and he did fine, however this was due to efficient hiding lol. Avoid predators and you'll see them roam the tank.

For those wondering where to get in the UK, I got mine from Dobbies, Braehead Glasgow; but haven't seen them in since

I loved mine, and him and my feather fin catfish got along great for two years, then one day my featherfin just decided to murder and eat him. This was most likely during a molting period but ya be careful in that tank. He might live, he might not.
