He got be 20 inches long in about 3 years. but he really fattened up in the last 2 years. Baby pic:

That is some awesome growth in just 3 years! What has her diet been like? Does she seem to have slowed significantly in her length growth but gotten thicker? How "wide" would you say that she is?
so for the first 4 years I raised him on pellets and dried food, then he stopped eating all of it.
so I tried veges and he loves them and has been eating only veges ever since. I've tried introducing protein back in like shrimps etc but he wont touch them

Interesting! I wonder if as a species they are more receptive to protein when they are trying to grow to a point that they are no longer easy prey in the wild? It's cool that even with a full on vegetarian diet that he has gotten that thick! Do you ever feed Charlie aquatic plants or just strictly veggies?
