funny thing is, when the bigger of the 2 get's pissed, I.E. water change, camera lens, my big face trying to get a better look, He turns dark w/ spot and puffs up and gets agro.
The Smaller one washes out to almost transparent, no spot clear looking fins...

One thing I am seeing is, the nipping that is taking chunks out of the tail of the smaller one, that matches what looks to be a whiter colored area on the bottom lip of the bigger one...

Do you have the option to separate? If nothing else it will let everyone calm down and get a got shot for Id purposes? I still think exodon even if Wes says no but like you say the pictures are a bit washed out so it is difficult

Not at the moment...it would be doom in the other tanks and my other small tank isn't cycled yet...

Would aggression stop with more? as in 3-4?

I doubt it, they are either friendly or not. My Oscars for example lived happily together for a few months and now the larger one beats the crap out of the smaller one for fun, I'm so close to setting up the river tank on the floor just to give it some space

I think what I'll do, is get one the same size maybe bigger than the Agro one, and return this submissive one...
The whole tank full are within a half inch in size...some have wider body mass, than others...we'll see what happens...

Aggression has subsided...Solution was to add 25 guppies and one More GG...
3 of them to raise, 1 to keep, 2 to give as gifts...

The 3rd one is a bit larger than the small one, so maybe the lil guy can heal up...:headbang2

Pic 2 looks EE as it has the spot, the others I'm not too sure about, maybe a bit of time and growth and they may color up a bit more and turn into red tails. Are you treating the little guy, the split tail looks bad but these fish bounce back pretty well?
