Hello all, not usually my section, but thought I'd post this article. 8 to 10 million years ago in south American there existed a fish that was likely the common ancestor of piranha and pacu, the teeth are intermediary between the two...and it grew to three feet long.

The saltwater bluefish have teeth and jaws that's not shy from a piranhas, and they grow over 3 feet too. Anyone who dare to jump into a bluefish feeding frenzy will likely get shredded into pieces. A bite from a large bluefish will result in large chucks of your flesh being cleanly cut off.

I wish they weren't extinct....
