But what do i need to do when i cut it? Do i need to put some medicine in the water when im done or what? I have to put him back in the same tank since all my other tanks are full with other fishes that will turn into food for him. Do i need to give them some relaxing stuff before i cut it off??

dude google it.. dont just depend someone to help you or if your not willing to research yourself and trust word of mouf I'd hire a professional. U need like that clover oil... just search the forum and compile it together... I'll make a log when I do it so if you want to wait and let me do mine first then that could help you... u know what its getting better i think. Ive done 20% water changes since i notice the gill curl and its still little curld but not as before. It just sticks out now and not pointing forward as before.
