Do you think it will hold up on the bottom I was gonna put sand in it if I decide on it

Provided the base or stand on which it sits is level AND the tanks sits on 15mm-25mm polystyrene it should be fine.

So with the bracing properly placed in the right places you think it will hold up. So I will decide on the tank thank

Yes, if you do as suggested above you shouldn't have any problems.

One more question on a tank like that where would the bracing be placed. Would it be all around the top or from side to side on all 4 sides

Around the top inside of the four pieces of glass plus a centre brace front to back and side to side.

100 bucks for that tank all I have to do is modifie it and it's a go hopefully it holds up
