One of this Guys threads was re opened in the Cichla section, when I started looking at the threads he had posted years ago, I was blown away!!!
I have always seen some of his pics but never knew how crazy his collection was!!!

Sometimes I enjoy this forum.
I just forgot my password,so just re-resisted right now.
This big male (Caquetaia sp.Choco) reached at about 20"TL. But passed away 6 months ago.
I will attached a pic of my fav wild super blue Umbee I had kept.

So this is different than the Gorillus Blue? I have 8 ornatum from Rio Choco but did not know umbee were from there as well. Very cool Seichi. We need you to post more often!
I think Gollius blue is very very similar to this Choco.
However Choco has a more red coloration on the back and there is almost no pattern on his cheek.
I can tell Choco also resembles the Pamana Green.
it was only two specimens which has collected and exported for recent 15 years .
Oliver has asked me what this fish is when he received a photo from Colombia exporter.
And I told him that's the fish I wished for years "sp.Choco".
After that I had Oliver imported it and shipped to Japan though he was very afraid of DOA because of the big size. At that time I said I will pay all money if that was DOA.
it was Oliver that named it Godzilla.
this is the true story about my big boy.
PS: I do think Gollirus Blue is one of the coolest Cichlid.
