I have a gold severum that is getting orange-red spots all over its body that kind of make lines going from its head to its tail. The face is turning this same orange-red color. Is there something wrong with my severum?

All good quality gold severum males should develop red/orane spotting with facial markings. It's just a sign that the fish is maturing. Don't put too much emphasis on the fancy names -- super reds are a very intensely colored gold, and everything else ("red spotted," "red-lined," etc.) are fancy names given to golds to make them sell better.

Here's my plain gold male:

Then you have a nice looking fish.
