Goldfish and minnows would die in my tank and not at the hands of my fish. I have brackish and they wouldn't be able to handle the salinty. That is where the shrimp and guppies come from, oh and snails.

he was asking which was better, and I was simply stating that both are pretty bad for tropicals and that shrimp and guppies are better for his fish (which I assume are tropical) than CW, high fat goldies and RRs.
