I'm looking for lighting for my tank as well. for a 180, would you recommend just the 2X96 bright watt kit...or would i need 2 of them to cover the length of the tank? (each kit is only 34.5" long)

thank you for the response. a little off topic, but does anyone know where I can buy glass tops for my oceanic 180? I can only find AGA tops everywhere i look, and they do not fit (already tried). Also, I was thinking of buying 10 assorted 2" discus from somethingsphishy.com....good idea or horrible idea? thanks again

I can't recommend you buy anything from somethingsphishy.com. They have horrid feedback on both quality and service. Just go to the Simply Discus forum and do a search. My favorite supplier is Kenny Cheung. Shoot him an email at kennysdiscus@sbcglobal.net. He's one of the best. He sells out quickly, but usually gets 2 shipments a month from Discus Forrest in Malaysia. Outstanding quality. I don't know about tops for an oceanic, but I've had tops made before at my local glass shop. You can then order hinges and handles from places like petsolutions. That's where I got mine.
