She is a Flowerhorn/Texas....she will be a year old in Sept.

There were some outstanding colorful fish in the brood, I have her sister also.

She was the bully in the growout tank, she was also the largest...I thought she was a male (still not positive on the sex).

She has been in a tank with a female red devil....they do not fight and the red devil lays eggs....no sign of any breeding behavior between the two

yeah Mayasun your fish might be a male so that's why the female got turned on and laid eggs.

But back to that ugly fish. I think it's really not good looking. Sorry. I think it's ugly and that it would be good if fried crispy. Eat it with some spicy nuo"c ma'm. Mmmm!! Man I miss fried fish with rice and canh chua.

no need to be sorry, I don't think she is that great looking either, more interesting....but, like with all "ugly" fish...she's blessed with a great personality
