the first fish in the picture is ugly. dont like saying this but dont waste your money on maintenance with it. you can use that money to feed a much better looking fish.

I can't believe by now there is an even number of ppl who think she looks good.. Ask them what looks good. Is it the colors or the pearls, the finnage or the body structure? I'd rather be honest on a subject like this or not bother. That's what it's all about when you start it. Since you're talking about LOOKs, you know Mayahsun that she is ugly. Not to disappoint you but you like the truth don't you? :)
 
I'm not disappointed...if I didn't want an honest answer I wouldn't have put the question out there.

I know what I thought about her and wanted other peoples views. Shes my fish and I will keep her because I like her and I am attached to her.
 
And that makes her better than any shiny big head flowerhorn from asia IMO. Just becuase it is not the norm for a flowerhorn does not mean its not pretty.

Call me what you will, but I think convict are great looking fish... and this kinda looks like a big convict. Hahaha. So I like it. I like the body, color and fins. It could almost pass for a naturual fish.
 
Same here. I like dark colour fish´s.
She´s not awsome looking but isnt ugly either. I like the stripes.

Nice face, very natural colors and a nice shape. It has a C. myersi look in the last pic. ;)
 
I think it's a cool looking fish. Just because one person thinks that it's ugly does not mean that it is. All a matter of personal preference. I don't really care for most FH. Just because they have some coloring and a big hump does not make them great looking. I agree with softturtle on the cons. Great little fish, but alot of people think they are only good as feeders. Doesn't make them right, just different.
