I fed mine massivore as well. I agree with the above comments that you should have high do2 and at least some flow. I noticed that my goonch liked to sit on rocks in the flow when it was hungry, and would eat best when food was washed past it.

Your results may vary.

I'm gonna give the massivore a shot..as far as plenty oxygen I have 2 powerheads in there and each powerhead is on opposite sides..2 tophead filters an a fx6..I've never tried massivore tho
 
Make sure the powerhead is near the bottom so the goonch can sit in front of it like a stream. Also give the goonch a big hiding place next to the flow of the power head like a rock to sit behind out of view. So the goonch can sit behind the cover and also be in the flow. Turn the lights off and try feeder fish or live earthworms.

For more oxygen maybe add an air pump/stone. Also try raising the temp 3-4 degrees that might get him to eat. Good luck!
