Update gold goonch stabilized after about 16 hours of being in quarantine tank. When I first added goonch I added prozzi. 16 hours later I added salt and 20 minutes after that he stopped breathing heavy. I have no clue what caused it he has been normal for 2 days. Wish I acted sooner with the short body but the only thin I didnt do in my main tank was add prozzi maybe it was gill flukes topping him from being able to breath I really am at a loss.

Glad to hear. Sounds like it was the breathing that was impacted, the gills health. Could be parasitic or bacterial. Do you feed live feeder fish? What's the entire diet and the proportional amounts roughly?

Oxygen cannot be 300-450ppm.

No live feeders 33 percent silver sides 33 percent shrimp 33 percent hikari massiveore sinking or floating pellets for gold goonch. Gold one loves pelets the most. Short body only at shrimp and whole snapper.

This is where I got the oxygen reading from

***I assume this is why the gold one is still alive.

Short body only at shrimp and whole snapper.
***I assume a nutritional imbalance was present. If not the main cause, then a complicating factor. That is if you didn't fortify the feed with vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin B1, because raw shrimp is loaded with thiaminase, but vitamins E, C, A are equally important to fish health.

This is where I got the oxygen reading from
***I assume these are millivolts, which could be converted into ppm of oxygen with calibration.

I soak fish/shrimp in this for nutrition. Big Goonch did try and eat 9 inch datnoid maybe he had a spine in his mouth and it stressed him out. Just not sure why goonch in same system but another tank started exhibiting the same behavior4 days after the first one did.

It seems to be an external treatment. I'd not use it to soak food. It'd not fortify the food. My nutrient disbalance guess still stands.
