Over there
Since I've taken my powerhead out of the tank my Yarrelli has started eating again.
That's very strange to me because from what I've noticed, even if they don't hang out in front of the current all the time, they will still hang out occasionally at least part of the day. I find it strange that yours completely stopped eating because of it and avoided it completely. Could there have been another reason? Maybe your powerhead was TOO strong and it found itself constantly having to fight it when it wanted to go in front?

I have a method for my madness. Trust me on this. I am sorry but can we please not add anymore onto this thread. It has occurred to me I have been gone for some time and I don't mean to attack anyone, but the key to the accuracy of this thread is reliant on the fact that everyone's fish has been correctly identified. I personally feel after looking through contributors photos and fish characteristics that this is not the case. I am currently creating a database of each members goonch that contributed to this thread and am grouping them together based on species. I can understand how confusing the new terms are that chix and I have coined and for that I apologize. That being said for the sake of accuracy I would like us all to come back to this thread at a later time.
