I swapped my old male jaguar cichlid for three of these at the time juvi's......I put them in the tank, did not know sexes....then after a while and lots of scrapping they paired off and constantly harrased the third, so rehomed it, so i was exstremely lucky,,,,,,that was my first ever snakeheads...now i love these guys

They are looking great now, amazing how quick they grow. I am still interested in them btw, I have a 4ft tank now with just cherry and crystal shrimp in, thinking of converting it and tryin to breed these, and the assams am gettin off Col. Think they arrive Saturday btw.

Been a short while since I've looked at this thread, the fry are certainly growing-out quickly. Nice piccys, as always.

hey buddy how's trick's.....glad your happy with them, how have they grown since being split from the group?can you get some pic's? also wen't to my mate's fish shop yesterday, he had a group of six, there doing great, very interactive even when split from the group, he has alot of question's about them in the fish shop, you can already see the leader of his pack, the biggest and he stand's no nonsense
