Maybe injury/scrape from the decor. Would make sure it’s eating and apply some methylene blue to the area with qtip if needed. Increase water changes to weekly.

I will be doing a water change today after work. I’ve been feeding him cucumber slices and algae wafers, I also recently added a piece of drift wood so I don’t think it has to do with feeding. I’ll try putting some methylene blue today and see how that goes. Thanks!

my local fish store owner told me it might be fungus. I added some aquarium salt and some kanaplex. It seems to have worked!
