Green terror with corydora?

Thank you all for your comments. Like in all healthy discussions there are good points on the yes and no.
I´ve kept a few cichlids over the years (not many compared to most of you guys) and know their personality. So the individual personality of the GT in question will have a big (huge) weight on the outcome of this combo.
I confess I still haven´t made my mind..

I appreciate your latest posts. Sometimes when we write (instead of talking), the words take a meaning we never intended to give them. That happens a lot in forums. All is good

What I meant was that if the green terror manage to swallow the Cory it might get stuck in its throat. Remember GTs will eat smaller fish when given a chance. That is why I would not risk placing corys with the GT and your GT is not going to stay small for long even if it is in a 60.

I understand your point. Thanks for clarifying it

What about the clean up crew poop? Especially w/ plecos. They produce a lot waste.

People exaggerate the amount of mess they create. I have BN plecos in all 10 of my tanks. The cleanup they provide far outweighs the mess they create. They keep the glass, gravel and ornaments clean and meanwhile, all I have to do is gravel vac. Not to mention that I find them enjoyable to watch, too.

If you are intent on Corydoras then Brochis might be worthy of you attention, basically large Corydoras. Brochis Splendens is basically a very large Bronze Cory.
