I have not seen one that looks good locally in a long time, but the store I frequent is down to 1 or 2 juvies, so maybe they will get a new batch soon. One guy at my lfs used to let me net my own fish so I always got the ones I wanted, but unfortunately he moved.
did you keep them in your pockets ;)

I'm sure he will. One of mine went into my tank with zero colour on his caudal fin. That distinctive orange seam was clear. Non-existent and a bit tattered.

It was the only fish I regretted purchasing and was wishing I had if been more picky at the LFS when they were betting them.

Now though the fish has settled in, fattened up, and is turning into a very nice specimen.

I'll try to post some comparison photos tonight if I get a chance.

what a cutie. can't wait to see him grown in!

there's a really good looking juvie sitting in a tank at work that I'd like to bring home (he's beat up all the others in the tank lol) but I *really* don't have room at the moment. (gotta start splitting up my salvinis soon too)

Need to set up more tanks :S

I know what you mean I wish I could set up more as well. I'm going to start getting rid of more fish that I have more of and just keep an all male tank

Yeah you have a nice one. Love his bold pattering on dorsal and caudal fin. He has a nice band and colors as well for his size. Surely has potential to be a stud. Look forward to updates on him
