So for my rubberlip pleco... what would you say is their growth rate?
Then for an average pleco what would you say is their average growth rate?
As i have a rubberlip and a mystery pleco. And the mystery is seeming to grow very fast but my rubberlip isnt.
Please and thank you

Rubberlip? Chaeostoma species grow to between 3 and 5 inches. In tropical temps, which is not natural for them, they grow faster and usually max out in a year. If your pleco has hit five inches and stopped, he's fully grown.

You don't know what the mystery pleco is? Or is mystery a common name? What is its L number? Look for your pleco here: http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/numbers.php?mode=l&thumbs=16 The row of numbers at the top of the page is a numerical catalog of logged L numbers. Or you could just post a pic.

Common plecs grow at different rates because care varies so widely from owner to owner. In clean water and with good feeding, they should reach one foot in about a year. But I've seen a 15 year old plec in a 20 gal tank that was around eight inches long, and 18+ inchers at the LFS that came from ponds and were only a few years old.

My rubberlip grew at about the same rate as my plastic plant.. No joke

I have a sail fin that grew from about 3" to 11" in about 3 years. Pretty slow growing.

I have checked out their website before, i do think it is a common, but it almost looks like a mix of a common and an l6. as i would totally get pictures, i just cant get them from my phone to here.
