A safety tip for you "bluebelly" keepers, check them closely behind the crease at the head/neck area, alwost every wild caught one I have seen has ticks there, tincture of iodine will get rid of them.and so will zinc sulfate cream.

really?, ive kept 4 of them, never saw anything.

Maybe it was just a local thing, San Fransisco area? Pinhead sized red ticks. Just a good thing to check for I guess.
