The only way I know of to cheat would be if the poster isn't smart enough or aware that they somethimes must change the name associated with the pic. Because then all one needs do is right click on said photo an choose save pic to see associate name. But in this case it was a very simple gecko. And if you know how to use a search engine you should be able to find it even if your not sure of the latin name.
Plus I used to breed and keep many different types of reptiles. So the first guess is the correct guess.
Just remember just because something isn't readily known to you doesn't mean that it isn't readily known by others. Or maybe I just know how to use a search engine, better than you.
