Yes didnt think that would of been good enough, as there is a few different snakes with the common name Sunbeam snake.

it is a venomous snake from a continent that starts in 'A'... not like that narrows it down too much. Keep trying, if you are still stumped then I will give more hints.

okay, it is from africa and is an elapid
