Yep A. gigas got it, i actualy have the rare virsion of this gecko known as " population 7" with is from western QLD, shes a real beauty.

Hmm.. Are you positive on your ID? How much variation is in formosa? The pictures I've seen the animals are very high contrast with bilateral chocolate brown coloration extending from the nose down the side to about midbody. I'm using Wilson and Swan's field guide as my reference.

*Edit... I just looked again at your picture... I guess it does have brown extending down the sides.. the flash burned out a bit of the color.

**Edit... Maybe Snakeguy101 can inform us on how he determined it was formosa?
