Guess what monster fish this is

The top one looks like a juvie japonicus, the othersa like young L. angustifrons or even microlepis

i don't think the top ones is japonicus, it looks a bit like the other tanganiykan varietiess I've had........Can anyone else provide more photos?

The one I thought looked like a young Akame,japonicus was post#1077 but you are right, if for no other reason than it does not have red eyes. How big are they?

Here are a couple shots of the microlepis, they are the forktail lates and according to fishbase are from Lake Tanganyika, and reach just over 37". Can't find much info.
