its a type of anguilla. i have a anguilla anguilla so it was easy but im sure its in the anguilla family.

I don't know if they are different species or if the first picture is just somedark adults, the second picture is of the speckled longfinned eel of Indonesia through Tasmania. the Anguilla reinhardtii, I am absolutely sure because the picture is from www.ifs.tas.gov.au
and was taken bt R.H. Kuitea. I will find a picture to post, hmmm.
