That is a tasty lingcod (Ophidion elongatus), it is also restricted to saltwater.
Just for future reference bob_tom, this game is for fresh water or fish that spend at least sometime in freshwater fish, preferably over 8"long (that is just a suggestion).

It is a Labeo and gets 18-19" long, it is not a weeksii, rohita, or chrysophekadion.
It looks nothing like any sort of bass and has a completely different fin stucture.
