Guess what monster fish this is

Here is one that I collected at one of my fishin holes will netting bait. They seem to adapt well to tank life.

Nope, this is their normal coloration but you are on the right track.

Very close, that was my first guess when I brought it home.

Yes, or atleast that what I am calling it. Every darther goby I have keyed out have had v-shaped marking along its side from the lateral line up from each blotch on the side. Anyway, good id.
