Its a Synodontis sp. What river system as a clue?

Nope, OK I'll give you guys a small hint. I caught the fish in the photo near my house

I can kinda see the simmilarity, but no.

Oky seeing as it has been almost 2 months since I've posted the pic, I'll give you guys some help. I caught this guy in the largest river in South Africa.

Now you guys should get it, ...if not, I'll give the name.

Chrysichthys nigrodigitatus "Bagrid catfish"?

Nope.
It's the largest member of it's family of which there are only 3 species, and it has a sucker mouth with short barbels.
