wow, i am really a newbie, with all those fish pictures i only know one, mbu and that is pretty common, but this is cool though, i am learning something new...

Ophidium means very roughly "snakelike" and you are correct, 33cm of skinny.

Hey shoefreak, I use this as a research game, I can almost always get the family, usually the genus, that gets me close enough to find the species and if not they give clues like which continent or how big. I am learning every time I play becuase even if I think I know I try to find a pic to make sure and read a little along the way.

Right genus Phil, but not quite the species. Here's an interesting fact about G. carapo though: They can be found on Trinidad and Tobago!
