If I drink tonight I might open the windows and play the Star-Spangled Banner on my electric guitar. LOUD!
I got some new amplified pick ups and it is a big improvement in volume.
This is a rodeo town so people here will be shooting off guns in the middle of the night. Reports of a loud guitar at midnight will go unnoticed.

Well no ear-splitting electric midnight guitar. I wasn’t willing to drag out the high-watt gear.
I might have done it if I had practiced a little more but my Hendrix isn’t yet good enough.
Instead I got out the Bombay Taxi horn and honked in the year.
There were lots of folks shooting guns and lots of illegal Mexican fireworks. Noticeably more than normal. Local folks are clearly very happy about the recent election.
