I have looked into those and they are also a valid option. I have even looked into oscars which may get too big and eat the needle noses but if I buy really small (that sorubim Lima or needle noses can’t eat) maybe they will equal out sooner or later... another good suggestion
Probably predators but the angels are a good option as tankmates instead of predators...
Oh oops, I forgot he had other fish in the tank. You defiantly do NOT want gulper catfish then.
How about a African knife fish, a small spiny eel as predators then angels for activity. You could also do silver dollars over angels as they are aggressive feeders and fun to watch eat
