I just got a ctenopoma yesterday I waited until today to see if he’d eat I tried pellets first (carnivore pellets) he instantly spit them out. I then tried tilapia at first he was just swimming right by it then he took a chomp and spit it out. I tried krill and brine shrimp spit it out again. I’m working on getting bloodworms as of right now I’m not sure what the store was feeding him before.

I’d just wait it out. Still getting used to the tank. Maybe provide some plants to help let them settle in. My old ctneopoma wouldn’t eat right away. Took a while. Would just stay/hide in my plants for a while. Try some krill or the bloodworms. An occasional live earthworm is usually irresistible.
