Glad to hear hes doing better

If he had a cloudy eye along with those other symptoms, it sounds like a water quality problem to me. Have you discovered the source of the problem?

no he hasn't eaten for a week and a half. I think he moght start soon though if he keeps improving. He got the cloud eye when he was laying on it for a few days in the hospital tank. in my 220 he had water parameters that couldn't get more perfect. I think he got a swim bladder problem from a stomach problem. he has been passing weird poo lately. I added epsom salt for a laxative and thats when he started improving. I don't know if he got an infection in his stomach or if he had worms or just constipated. thanks for the reply's guys

Get a water report from your utility, it should tell you thier standards and wether they use chlorine or chlorinase. This won't help now but might in the future, chlorinase is harder to break down.

bro, i would suggest you try to position your aro in an upright position. Meaning that you try to use something that is heavy like bricks, etc to sandwich your aro to an upright position (enough strength to hold the aro will do). with that, place an aeration right in front of your aro......Once your aro is feeling better, he will swim out by itself.....

At the same time, try to do water change of 10-15% daily.....this will help to clear all toxic in it and get the water perimeter right......dont forget to add in salt and increase the temp....

Hope that your aro will be able to pull thru.......
