my channa bought 2 weeks ago, now refuse to eat anything...
before this, it has a wound on the fin, but recovered already.
However, few days ago, it refuse to eat....
i fed it with small goldfish, superworm n blood worm before. he eats everything... but now, it didnt even show interest on the food or even swim near it... just swimming in the tank up and down....

is this symptom of any disease or parasite? or is it hurt internally??
sometimes, it will accelerate when swimming for a short distance like wanna bang on the tank.....
Do pulchra really needs colder water? my tank temp is around 26-28.....

i'm worried~~

I fed my baby pulchra frozen bloodworms, cuy up earthworms, shrimp, and the ocassional rosy. I dought it has a disease or its intenally injured.

First thing you should do is stop feeding live food.. They could carry parasites & diseases..
Try to starve him for a few days & see how it goes..
Btw, 28°C is fine.. I've a pulchra too & it's doing fine without heaters..

hi guys is it normal for the pulchra to not eat for like the first 3 days in a tank? i got mine for 3 days already.. not eating at all.

tried shrimp and bloodworm both dont touch at all... the prawns started eating the blood worms -.-

the channa is recovering~~ eating a zebrafish each day~ ^0^ thanks guys...

but i stil think the temp is a bit too high. they are not tropical fish though~~ going to set up a fan soon.. hope to lower the temp few degree....
but my gachua on the other hand starts to emo.... only active when feeding~ stress out i think.... ><"
