Help keeping a bare bottom tank

So silly question. When you say it's pointing to the front of the tank, do you mean that you have the powerhead on one longside and it boows towards the facing long side. Or you have it on a short side facing the bottom towards a longside as well?

Long side to long side. Pointed a little to the center of the tank and a little down

power head pointing down wards. or get some bottom dither's like corydoras catfish. or why not let algae grow all over the bottom? it helps with filtrations and in my opinion makes the tank look better.

i recently made my 135g tank bare bottom. and i let aglae grow all over the bottom and its now almost fully covered in algae and it looks great!

Like everyone else noted DIY powerhead spray bar going to a filter and then maybe something on the bottom to keep everything stirred up
