help!!!!! my pleco has fin rot!!!!

my 3 inch sailfin pleco has tail rot and im going too treat it but i need to know how. It was fine yesterday and i woke up this morning and it has fin rot. since it is in the early stages i presume it will be easier to treat

i also need to know if a sailfin pleco is allergic to any kind of medication

I would use Melafix.

Typically they don't just wake up with fin rot. pics will confirm my thoughts of them just being split from tankmates ...

Hospital tank and change water 3 * a week. if no improvement then treat with antibiotics - maracyn 1 and 2 combo should work.
