Like I said earlier, it'll be trial and error. Angels like to choose their partners so you have to widen their selection range. Do this in a large tank obviously.devder1;2374809; said:

Answer:
With only two angels it is hard to get a pair. It has been done, but getting five or six angels and growing them up gives you a better chance for a pair. The chances of getting at least one pair from six angelfish is 95%.
Chance of Pairs forming: (This is not exact but can be used to predict pairs)
1 fish 100% no pair
2 fish 50% for a pair
3 fish 75% for a pair
4 fish 87.5% for a pair
5 fish 93.8% for a pair
6 fish 96.9% for a pair
7 fish 98.4% for a pair
8 fish 99.2 % for a pair
in a 55g 4-5 is fine and u might get a pair. Make sure they are all the same size. do u have somewhere to put the ones that didnt pair up? or the ones that did? have u dont research on how to raise the fry? good luck in whatever u do

what kind of angels are they?what i would do is buy like 3 more and put them all in the same tank raise them up (if young)
and feed them live food or normal(flake) (normal somehow worked with me!)
and then they'll pair out you move the others to another tank and leave the best pair in the same and put a piece of slate in and they should lay there eggs on there and then people would know the rest!!

A pair will defend their site and fry. That doesn't make them any friendlier than they were before they paired off.devder1;2403732; said:y? do they play well w/ others while theyr breeding?
